Acknowledgment
15$ per signature
We will verify the signer’s identity and witness their signature on a document (e.g., deeds, mortgages, contracts, powers of attorney). The signer acknowledges that they signed willingly. Includes affixing the notary seal and completing the certificate.
Jurat (Oath or Affirmation with Signature)
$15 per jurat (covers the oath/affirmation and signature for one person)
We will administer an oath or affirmation (e.g., “Do you swear/affirm the contents are true?”), then the signer signs an affidavit or sworn statement in the notary’s presence. Common for legal declarations, applications, or verifications. Includes the seal and jurat certificate.
Administering an Oath or Affirmation (Without Signature/Jurat)
$15 per person.
We will simply administer a verbal oath or affirmation to a person (e.g., for court testimony or official statements) without requiring a signature or document. This is standalone and less common.
Certified Copy of Power of Attorney
$15 per copy certified.
We will certify that a copy of a power of attorney document is true and complete by comparing it to the original. Note: California notaries can only certify copies of powers of attorney—not other documents like diplomas, transcripts, or vital records.
Deposition Services
All services in connection with the deposition: $30.
– Plus, administering the oath to the witness: $7.
– Plus, certificate to the deposition: $7.
We will handle the services related to taking a deposition (sworn testimony outside court), including recording questions/answers if needed.
Proof of Execution by Subscribing Witness
$15 per proof (treated like an acknowledgment).
Used when the original signer cannot appear before Us. A witness (who saw the signing) appears instead, and the notary verifies the witness’s identity and administers an oath. Common for real estate or estate documents.
Signature by Mark
$15 per signature/mark
If a person cannot sign their name (e.g., due to disability), We will partake in witnessing them making a mark (e.g., “X”) with two additional witnesses present. Includes verification and certification.
Immigration Documents
$15 per signature or jurat
Notarizing signatures on certain immigration forms, but we cannot certify translations or provide immigration advice. Limited to standard acknowledgments or jurats on forms like I-9 verifications (though I-9s don’t require notarization).
